He also announced that the third session of the Türkiye-Germany Strategic Dialogue Mechanism had taken place in Berlin.
Fidan noted that the previous meeting under the mechanism was held 12 years ago, adding that the latest round reflected the shared determination of both countries to strengthen and expand strategic cooperation.
According to reports, the Turkish minister held detailed talks with senior German officials, including Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, focusing on the broader state of bilateral relations.
He added that Ankara and Berlin plan to further enhance cooperation through joint projects and reciprocal investments in sectors such as defense industries, energy, connectivity and the economy.
