Russia’s Nuclear Agency Calls for De-Escalation After Bushehr Strike
Aleksei Likhachev, head of Rosatom, said the company “categorically condemns” the attack and urged all parties involved in the conflict to take steps to reduce risks near the nuclear plant.
The statement noted that radiation levels at the Russian-built facility remain normal and that no staff members were harmed.
Earlier reports cited Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization saying that a projectile had struck an area near the Bushehr nuclear plant.
