Trump announces agreement of ceasefire in Gaza without revealing details
(MENAFN) On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel has agreed to the essential terms needed to finalize a 60-day ceasefire aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza. He called on Hamas to accept the agreement.
Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated, “Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War.”
He credited Qatar and Egypt for their significant efforts in helping to broker peace, adding, “The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal.”
